About the Role
The Role:
Leading the supply and production domain of the company’s systems, while working
routinely with subcontractors in the fields of electronics, mechanics, and assemblies.
The role includes the establishment and management of a supplier network,
ensuring material availability and meeting schedules for defense projects and
complex systems, alongside full end-to-end responsibility for procurement
processes.
Responsibilities:
• Management and leadership of all supply chain and production activities in the
company
• Management of subcontractors in Israel and abroad in the fields of EMS,
machining, and assemblies
• Development and management of a strategic supplier network
• Management of strategic and project-based procurement, including management of
negotiations and agreements
• Production planning and management of supply schedules
• Management of BOM and component availability throughout the product lifecycle
• Management of contracts and SLA agreements with suppliers
• Ongoing work with engineering teams in NPI processes
• Leading the transition from development to serial production
• Management of supply chain risks and identification of bottlenecks
• Continuous improvement of processes, supply times, and costs
• Full responsibility for the Procurement domain in the first stage
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in the field of Supply Chain / Operations – mandatory
• Experience in defense industries or in complex systems – mandatory
• Proven experience in managing manufacturing suppliers and subcontractors –
mandatory
• Experience in leading transition from development to serial production – mandatory
• Experience in complex systems – advantage, with emphasis on Land Systems or
Electro-Optics
• Experience working with defense customers – significant advantage
• Experience in managing strategic procurement and commercial agreements
• Deep understanding in BOM management and component availability
• Experience working with global supply chains
• Ability to work in a multi-interface environment
• High management, leadership, and influence capabilities
• English at a very high level
